Rio Tinto are expanding operations in the Pilbara to epic proportions while introducing next generation technologies to deliver greater efficiency, lower production costs and improved health, safety and environmental performance.
About the Role:
WorkPac are seeking Project Advisors to join the Rio team for an initial 3-month contract based at Perth.
Support the development and delivery of technology projects throughout various phases
Assist in prioritisation of deliverables, encompassing key stakeholder engagement
Perform analysis and develop insights to the relevant systems and the utilisation to support business cases
Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Establish clear requirements of potential solutions based on the needs of the end users and the business
Define scope of work for external technology partners to address requirements
Documentation and the execution of proof-of-concept exercises and the test results
Skills and Experience:
A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
Science/engineering/IT/business improvement related background or qualifications
Experience working with end users and the ability to translate voice of customer into technical requirement
Understanding of mining operation. Autonomous haulage system knowledge desirable but not essential
Comfortable working with ambiguity and exploring options
Project experience in technology/productivity area
A strong track record of delivery of outcomes
Excellent communication and written documentation skills
Strong analytical skill. Preferably experience with SQL
